Dr. Dorcik received his medical degree from The University of New England - COM. He completed his internship at Firelands Community Hospital in Sandusky, Ohio. This was followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Suburban General Hospital in Norristown, Pennsylvania. He has been in private practice since 1994, specializing in women's health care.

Dr. Dorcik is a member in good standing of the American College of Phlebology. He has studied under some of the leading physicians in the field of Phlebology and non-invasive aesthetics, including Dr. Patrick Bitter, innovator of the PhotoFacial™ technique and Dr. Norman Cohen, Medical Director of the Vein Clinic of Jacksonville, Florida, one of the largest clinics of its kind in the country.
